face-down-asgard-up: therewasaholehereitsgonenow: panzertron: For the “30th Anniversary” edition of the Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark books, publisher Harper Collins got rid of all the awesome, creepy-as-shit original artwork by Stephen Gammell, and replaced it with lame, “family-friendly” stuff.  I heard about this at the bookstore the other day and wanted to weep. The artwork that accompanied this series was the shit that scared me the most. Makes me glad I still have 2 volumes with the original art. This makes me sad.
